If you’re applying nematodes yourself, make sure to mix them well beforehand, following the instructions on the packaging. Besides ants, this species can treat other pests such as flea beetles, houseflies, sawflies and fungus gnats. But unlike most applications you can purchase online, ants are not solely killed by nematodes, and you will instead see them disperse and leave the area that has been treated – leaving your lawn ant-free humanely. We recommend that you only make arrangements for tradespeople to carry out work on your behalf after your turf or other products have been delivered.

After applying nematodes, additional water should be applied to the treated area to wash nematodes into the nests. Nematodes are a purely biological solution, meaning that they target the ants, and the ants only – so the ecosystem of your lawn isn’t disturbed and you don’t have to use any harsh chemicals either!
